Corrupt bunch of bds. They feel safe and secure in the knowledge that no matter how bent they are the western powers that send them aid will continue to send it. In turn they will continue to misuse it. call it out for who they are and what it is and get called racist. Well meaning but naïve left wing thinking make these bds secure

‘WHO Goodwill Ambassadors are celebrity advocates of the World Health Organization (WHO) and use their talent and fame to advocate for health and well-being.’

Interesting choice..

Daltrey and Townshend are going to get a lot of stick for this, and quite rightly IMO.

Just what were they thinking?
Hopefully they will learn from it. And they Won't Get Fooled Again

Africa. Aids, guerrilla warfare and general mismanagement. It'll never be anything else.
You appear to have a view of the whole continent based on stereotyping. There are parts of Africa that don't have a big Aids problem, don't have warfare, and have stable governments. Also, why assume that a whole continent could never change?

Mugabe is a knob and he misgoverns terribly, but he isn't the whole continent.

Let's be blunt.
It was a stupid decision when taken. A stupid decision in hindsight and as I said before shows what a bunch of corrupt sts they are in taking the decision

I wonder if that super short term of office carries any severance pay or a WHO pension?

Surely not

You two sniping at each other are starting to look a bit more stupid than the people who thought Mugabe's appointment was a good idea.
