There are certain people in certain internet debates that use certain terms to affirm their uncertain internet superiority.

For example; people accusing other posters of using 'ad homs' to attempt to either a) Diminish the other persons argument. or b) to make themselves look like they've studied law.

Another one that gets on my 'man mams' is 'strawman argument'. Or how about Godwins law, when if you ever mention Hitler your argumant becomes invalid?

Go on, share your internet argument Coup De Grace' and make yourself look hard as fook.

Godwin's law only states that the longer an internet debate continues, the higher the likelyhood that Hitler/Nazi's will be raised.

It would a fallacy for an argument to be made invalid simply because Hitler/Nazis were raised.

If you'd finished with "HTH", it would have been perfect smile
Au contraire, mon ami. By quoting 'Godwins Law' you are implying that the debater will eventually use the National Socialist Party of Germany as part of their argument, thus undermining the impact and legitamacy of their argument amongst yourself and the fellow members of the 'Have to win the internet' sect that you may, or may not, belong to.
