As long as Labour occupy the hard left, the Tories will have the numbers to oppose them. If they ditch Corbyn and Momentum for someone more centre left, the Tories are screwed.
Maybe but when we have the toxic combination of millions of tory voters saying they won't vote for them again and millions of people who want a labour admin labour will get into power by default...I seriously think if there was a GE tomorrow there would be a labour majority ...

Will May be the cancer that finishes off the tory party or will they dump her ... would the remain wets and their big business ,banker types rather keep her as their puppet in attempt to reverse brexit ???
I recognise each of the words, but when you put them together like that they don’t work as coherent English.Care to have another run at it?

I’m struggling to understand what you expected to happen. Brexit was alway going to be in name only, and given the referendum result rightly so.
This won’t be the end of conservative government, because the vast majority of people are going to wake up at the end of March next year and be able to pay the mortgage. The planes will fly, the boats will sail, trade and industry will carry on.
So when the voter comes to put a cross on the ballot paper, it will only be those on the far right of the issue that will give a crap about Brexit. So someone’s majority will fall by a few hundred votes. So what?
By 2022 no one will care.

Maybe you could give me some guidance ?? as I rather suspect you have may have an important point to make
Yes, fair enough.Take a daily newspaper, one of he better ones, and read it. Buy some of the classic pieces of literature, and read them too.
If that seems too much work just look at the sentence structure and grammar of other posters here.
It’s possible that English is not your mother tongue, but everyone else here seems to be able to translate their stream of consciousness into text relatively well.
If you don’t put in the effort then life can leave you behind, and you can find yourself starting to blame others for where you are. That’s not a healthy place to be.

If we can have a Tory party that actually understand and want conservative policies then they would remain in power. This lot however.....
I have come to the uneasy conclusion that they no longer care. They see the EU project as more important than their voters and what the voters want, this much is very clear now.May never intended to take the UK out of the EU, I kind of knew this very early on and am very sad to be proved right. May seems to be the polar opposite of Thatcher.
Brexit was always going to be completely toxic for the Tories. Having already lost them legions of Remain supporters, their inability to deliver anything like their promises on Brexit looks to cost them their 'Leavers' too.
It will be very difficult for the Conservatives to turn their fortunes round since the demographics of Leave and Remain support really don't favour them - and their support is drawn from ever older people.
Brexit isn't a Right/Left issue, but fundamentally one of outlook. People may drift rightwards politically as they age and have more to lose, but I suspect that Brexit and Pro-EU opinions will prove to be more of a deep-held 'identity' belief than the more economically motivated positions of left and right politics. I suspect the young will be plotting their return from day one and will never truly embrace Brexit, which is a problem for it. Most of the people who really want Brexit and would steer its path through the difficult years are retired. It is not an easy message for the Tories to sell to the youth that all the pain they are experiencing through Brexit is 'worth it', when the destination is not the one they chose. It is much easier to swallow the pain when you believe in the end result. 'Leave' Conservatism forgets this and makes no attempt to address it. This could prove fatal for them.

^ What he said.Sit back and enjoy FPTP voting... the party not in power has huge sway on how extreme (in one direction) the party in power can move.
May will get us through brexit and retire and who would blame her. Replace her with borris who’s had a quiet couple of years in the interim but is a likeable guy and a bit edgy. Result they hold on as Corbyn will just about contest the next election and is a bit too much for the majority,
I voted Remain, because I didnt trust them to not fk it up....
I also Spoilt my paper at the last GE....
For me, the average working man is totally screwed by current uk career politicians.
Have voted Tory all my life - to keep Labour out.
Said it before, but 2 party politics is destroying us,,,,,,,,
