I don’t think there’s going to be another UK referendum ever on EU membership though.
The rejoining or not leaving will be likely through amendments and thousands of small changes.

I agree. Another vote doesn't help. Otherwise we end up in an endless cycle as the difference is so marginal it could literally be 51% 49% remain next time or vice versa, the result was not decisive enough to be completely sure. I guess back on the OP, as I mentioned I think the bigger concern with all the distrust in politicians is that we have wealthy supporters breaking the law to influence voting and getting no punishment for it. Although if they got a few years in prison that might actually send a proper message that the process of democracy cannot be influenced this way.
Genuine question. If this matter is related to how much each of the various groups of the leave / remain camps spent on their referendum campaigns, where does the 9 million pounds of tax payers money spent by David Cameron on a pro remain booklet stand in all of this?
Has this sum been taken into account when totting up who spent what, or this something that needs to be investigated further by the electoral reform office? As stated, this is a genuine question.

Electoral Commission on R4 said the overspend had no appreciable impact on people's voting behaviour and this is a procedural failing only so, no. I don't imagine this is the grounds for an attempt to subvert the original decision many have been looking for.
Not quite what they said this morning, when that question was asked they avoided answering saying that was not their remit to decide if it had an impact on the vote or not. Pan Pan Pan said:

As I understand it the problem is all private groups were obliged inform the electoral commission if they were spending more than £10k on campaigning. After this they were bound by various rules governing referendums. Vote Leave Limited, BeLeave and Veterans for Britain broke the rules.Has this sum been taken into account when totting up who spent what, or this something that needs to be investigated further by the electoral reform office? I think that this is the near-inevitable outcome; we will re-join the EU in 10-15 years on terms far less generous than those we have enjoyed to date. It will still be better for the UK overall but it is likely that the price of readmission will be membership of the single currency, 100% compliance with the Social Chapter, zero rebate on the contribution formula and unfettered FOMI don’t think there’s going to be another UK referendum ever on EU membership though.
