The irony being they've drove a dirty diesel truck carrying a yacht into london and there causing traffic jams so everyone is stuck in a jam probably with there engines running causing double the pollution there would normally be.

What I do not understand is what they expect, saying they want the guberment to do something is pointless, sorting Brexit is easy compared to climate change.
They need to start by identifying the key causes that can be addressed and then suggest solutions.
All they are doing is giving the chancellor free reign to increase fuel duty.
This ones easy to sort, referendum!

Do we want
A, to be co2 neutral by banning all travel, all manufacturing, all farming and turn off all our power stations so we have a limited supply of electricity and no heating/lighting in winter.
or B
Carry on as we are encouraging greener traver, investing in greener manufacturing options helping farmers put more land up for nature whilst still producing food for us and trying to find ways to make green electricity.

This ticks off all 3 of 'there demands', The government can put all current 'scientific' evidence online for us to check and make our minds up and the people would have had a say on what should happen. They may have 50k people signed up to them but what do the other 70mill in the country think?

there is no such thing as a climate emergency. anyone that believes that is an utter fking moron with such an easy life they have to invent ste to worry about.

as for listening to xr, i know exactly what they are about and anyone that wants to take my lifestyle back to the dark ages can go take a flying fk to themselves. i have no problem with vast swathes of the dimmer end of the population giving up a comfortable life, going to live in the woods, painting their faces with wode, praying to the god of climate and wearing clothes made from hemp. just don't expect me or the vast proportion of the population that live in the real world to join the bandwagon.

I REALLY hope im wrong but i hope there are precautions in place as im sure we all remember what happened not so long ago when there were lots of people on a London bridge.. and with the hospitals being disrupted it would be messy if it happened again.

On the plus side the covid might thin them out a bit over time. The rest of us will be social distancing and staying at home ordering things off the net i imagine so there wont be much cause disruption too.

How is it in some situations the Met seem to go in properly and clear them out and sometimes they just let them crack on and cause chaos?
50% of the time they will get slated for being soft, 50% of the time they will get slated for going into heavy, so they mix it up.

Whos hoping a 20 year old Sprinter van is stuck someone near by with a knackered injector and is spewing diesel fumes out at them while they sit there?
