Bristol making the news and most likely cutting it's nose off to spite it's face.

Can see it causing problems for deliveries as they will most likely want to deliver outside the hours to save on the charge

Is there any explanation for what will happen when the Avon bridge is closed, or the Almondsbury interchange and the police direct all the traffic through Bristol? (As happens from time to time.)
Pop up toll booth maybe?

If they charged private drivers they would be out on their ear come the next election
Businesses are a soft non voting target
Cant see the charge actually reducing pollution, its green politics at its most hypocritical
I agree, it is just a money making scheme. I will have to pay to drive my euro4 Astravan which is my private vehicle into the city to park but can drive in for free in my V8
