There is definitely a significant change, even taking into account the removal of the other democrat choices.

Trump takes credit for the gains,so why not the losses?

I think you are missing the point of the model. The solidified GOP support and the fragmented DMC support are not changed due to economic or, geopolitical changes. Sure the independents will have a big say but the model does not believe it is big enough to change the result.
The "solidified" GOP support is only because Trump is the sole effective runner, there has been no dispute as to him running! If he had to fight for the nomination, the figure would be different. Some states didnt even bother polling!
The fragmented DNC support for Biden is because that was a leadership contest.Of course it will have different people, until Biden won, then most will rally behind him-even Sanders who had the next most votes is saying vote for Joe,and the message is "vote blue, no matter who"
Independents swung a lot of states the last time, how many will look at the clusterfk the US is in after 4 Trump years & say"Hmmm, good job Donnie"?

Someone, probably Byker, put a link earlier in this thread,to the policies Biden has, so if people think they are crap, no doubt they can see them and comment.
He definitely seems to be more progressive, and will probably pick a more progressive VP, as Bernie has shown that there are many Dems moving that way.
He's not there on M4A, which is a shame for most Americans, but maybe one day they will see sense and join the rest of the civilised world .
As has been said,he may not be the best Dem (I've made no secret that I feel Bernie Sanders is) but he is waaay above Trump.

... If you're President, you appoint your OWN team, to get things done the way YOU want them done. ....
On just 1 point of so so many, Trump DID choose his own team, and then fired loads of them, and said they were crap, loads have been prosecuted. But only the best people!!

It may come as a surprise to you...
Strong turnout for the candidate to try to oppose McConnell, strong turnout for Dems across the board. ....
Charles Booker is coming on strong, a very progressive candidate, as opposed to "Trump isn't that bad" Amy McGrath. I think very much boosted by the BLM protests. McConnell will have a tough fight I think

Trump's response when he was asked what are his top priorities for a second term.

Note: can anyone identify where hs lists one?

"You don't have to kill people"..... Shane that is effectively what his administration is ACTUALLY doing!

If SCOTUS dumps Obamacare, will that mean it's just Medicare that is left as no replacement has been done? It's bad enough Biden says people can keep their employees plans that they like when millions don't have them anymore, this would be even worse

What's to stop the next, decent and honest,AG from resurrecting the indictments? As there has been no trial, double jeopardy won't apply, so surely he won't be safe , although I'm sure a lot of evidence might "disappear" if Barr had his way.
And let's not forget Tish James will have a lot of cases waiting for him and Barr can't sack her (AFAIK!!)

Presumably Pence would be the front runner.

And the 3% that voted for "A.N.Other", who do you think that will be?

Immigration:
Biden 54%
Trump 38%
That bit surprises me. Partly because if there's one thing Trump has consistently done it's bashing mexicans/muslims/immigrants/sthole countries and partly because OberGruppenFuhrer Miller seems to be running one of the few areas of the Administration that is trying to deliver on what Trump promised.
I think that shows most Americans are not ok with kids being locked in cages and separated from their parents and Miller's other sweet policies,a d want Joe's more reasonable stance.

Trump will run no matter what, or try to, I think. His ego won't allow him NOT to be a 2 term president like Obama. But hopefully November will make Nixon v McGovern in '72 look like a dead heat

Not as far as some want to go, but hopefully Bernie will have a big role in the Biden administration come January
