TFL to extend Congestion Charge Zone...?!

In plans suggested to TFL, the government suggests they extend the current Congestion Charge Zone to the North & South Circular!! (To match the 2021 Low Emission Zone).

£15/day/24/7/365 to drive into...



All so that TFL can have access to a £1bn government bailout...

Would they dare???

As soon as the congestion charging zone was created and shown to raise revenue it was inevitable it would expand. I think Buzz Lightyear summed it up 'to infinity and beyond!!!'

Not at all surprised. In my mind as soon as the ULEZ was announced I commented how easy it would be to add the extras! Missed the global pandemic and saw this but not under these exact circumstances!!

We live 500m outside the South Circular and so 90% of the journeys we make are in the new proposed CC area
