Was it just me or did this all just appear for about 12 hours then get scrubbed from the consciousness of the press?
There seemed to be some hard stats on free school meal white working class children and the effect that other agendas had on their progression, in printed press and during the day on the BBC etc.
But it is all gone like it never got said.

Very true, I would suggest though that the murder or attempted murder of one person is not at the same magnitude of national importance as the possible disenfranchisement of a generation or two of a subsection of our society. Sheepshanks said:

It was on the BBC TV news last night and again at lunch-time today - which I thought was quite odd, they pretty well repeated the same package and I can't recall that happening before on different days.There seemed to be some hard stats on free school meal white working class children and the effect that other agendas had on their progression, in printed press and during the day on the BBC etc.
