Senator Susan Collins, the Maine Republican who was a key supporter of Brett Kavanaugh in his 2018 confirmation, said he and Neil Gorsuch misrepresented their views on Roe v. Wade in private meetings with her.


The GOP rushed through Kavanaugh, refused to allow witnesses, refused to investigate him, the accusations of his drunkeness, rape and sexual assault. Refused to investigate who paid off all his debts suddenly, yet Collins still voted for him as did all the other GOP.

Same as Collins believed ACB wouldn't overturn Roe. Remember when Gorsuch, Barrett and Kavanaugh put their hand on the bible and told us that Roe was settled law that wouldn't be altered.

Lets be honest now, it's time for the Dems to stop playing by any rules they think exist because the GOP don't and won't in the future. Expand the Supreme court from 9 to 13, put in terms, not life appointments, indict those judges that lied through their confiirmation hearings.

Why now - after the draft release, the supposed manufactured outrage that it was leaked...

What a handy distraction for Justice Thomas to take the lead in striking down Roe v Wade in the US, just as we were starting to find out more about his wifes involvement in trumps coup attempt..., just as trumps plans, complicity was being fully exposed...

Or is this that they think the whole sorry lot is about to come falling down because the DOJ have started moving, multiple raids, seizures, subpoenas. These January 6th hearings, and the DOJ’s accelerating investigations have people worried that a lot of right wing political figures are at risk of charges/prison time.

That includes the strong possibility of Ginni Thomas being indicted for her part in trumps coup attempt, and it’s not clear if Clarence Thomas has legal exposure as well, but with his sole decision in Feb it's more likely the case . At best Justice Thomas will be forced to recluse himself if he doesn't face censure for being involved, even if just giving legal advice.

Is this desperation to get this done whilst they can, because it's most likely handed the Dems the midterms on a plate. It really doesn't make sense otherwise?

Although what were you originally implying, because you're original tone makes it sound like you thought it was a false accusation, made up?
Perhaps you'd like to clear that up to avoid any misunderstanding.

Several of the Fox news, GOP, etc did though, use the word fake... especially those that deleted their tweets...like Jim Jordon, Fox News host Jesse Watters spent the opening segment of his primetime show suggesting it was fabricated to benefit a left-wing agenda.

Ohio AG said he was going to investigate the doctor for not reporting properly, slandered her, purely for political reasons and without any evidence, Fox Newz named the doctor, putting her at risk from the violent anti abotionists.

This is where the GOP is at the moment, an attorney general who would go after a doctor trying to support the health, welfare, and future of a ten year old rape victim whilst ignoring the attacker, who it turns out raped her twice.

Remember Fox Newz originally ran the story this was all faked, then she didn't need an abortion, to the doctor lied about the girl needing to leave Ohio, to the doctor didn't file the reports, to she did file the reports but didn't talk to reporters about it...

Now has gone further and started legal proceedings for defamation after Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita went on Fox News and said that Bernard has a "history of failing to report" abortions to the state, as required by law.
In the lawsuit, Bernard's attorneys say that the doctor has no disciplinary history.
