FFS she was driving while under the influence
I can't understand why she felt she should not have been kept in a cell for 12 hours. even said herself they knew about her cancer so I would hope would be careful about looking after the women in the cells
[quote]The 58-year-old was twice the legal limit when she collided with a parked car while on the way to buy cat food from Tesco on Wells Road, on March 15 this year

Utter rubbish in the local papers at the moment

intersting decision by the law.
Of course, she could just get back into the car and drive. What are they going to do?
It would be an interesting decision if they decided to send a dying woman to prison. Definately not condoning her actions - law's law and all that. But what does she have to lose?
What does she have to lose by committing any crime? You just hope her sense of decency and dignity would stop her from doing that. That doesn't seem to be the case though. Of course, she could just get back into the car and drive. What are they going to do?
