Sorting through my statements online tonight whilst filling out my budgeting thing, I notice a charge for 24p and its labelled as overdraft interest.

Quite odd as I haven't been anywhere near my overdraft for over a decade!!!

I'm inclined to let it go because its 24p and I haven't got the time. But it does seem odd. I guess I just keep an eye out for if it happens again? why would it even happen in the first place?

Drawing against uncleared effects? Account balance will show positive while actual using funds that are not cleared.

If not call the bank, site the situation, and they should rectify and add some "distress and inconvenience" too, they pay more for calls rather than email/letters.

Would have to be some big uncleared things given the account has about 3 month's salary in it at anyone time!

I hope it's not all about to disappear! :Hehe:

No worries! Did not want to presume your balance! Def have a call with them, does not sound right.
