Credit Card Points & FX
Discussion
Looking for some advice/suggestions on this...
I regularly travel around Europe for both personal and work, customer visits, trade shows etc. Spend per month is around £1,000-3,000 for business expenses. Credit card will be a personal card, not a business one. I would also give my partner the supplementary second Platinum card to gain points.
I'm looking to sort a new credit card, one that has benefits with it. Was looking at Amex Platinum for the benefits and points, however the 3% FX charge doesn't seem like a good idea for all that foreign currency spend.
I could use the Amex Platinum for use in the UK, and then use a Nationwide Clarity card at 0% for business travel, but would like to gain something from the business expenses if possible.
