Switching energy suppliers a con?
Discussion
I've used a few of the switching sites and have similar results from each.
I currently spend roughly £1200 p.a. on a dual fuel standard tariff basis.
The sites reckon I can save up to £244 by switching.
When I drill down into their calcs I find that they over-estimate my current Kwh costs by 24% gas and 13% electricity. So any advertised savings are going to be wiped out by my much higher (actual) usage.
Has anyone switched and had any real world savings?
