Hi everyone
Sorry to barge straight in looking for help. I came across you whilst googling a solution to my problem and was very impressed by your knowledge..........so I joined biggrin And am hoping you knowledgeable people can point me in the right direction :-D

As I said, my oven won't turn on frown It's a Beko OIF22300XL - single built in fan oven - not hardwired. (get me! lol) Things is have tried so far................nothing! lol Well, I've googled :-D I now know how to replace the element (piece of cake :-D) but I'm wondering if it's the element that is causing the problem?

All that is working on the unit is the digital display, which suggest to me that the plug fuse is ok. I've checked my circuit board thingy and everything is as it should be - i.e. nothing tripped.

My doubts that the element is at fault stem from the fact that nothing else works - I would assume the fan would kick in, and also the interior light would come on - even the grill.............or am I just being my usual blonde numpty?

If any of you lovely people could help, that would be great smile Thanks in advance smile

Hi, I assume you're male.... find a female to do it, it'll work.
It has something to do with turning knobs or some such witchcraft.

You assume wrong biggrin

And you know what they say about assumption.........:-D

I don't recall saying my oven was expensive you cheeky, ingnorant and offensive sod! Why buy a new one when it might be simple and inexpensive to fix the one I have.

thanks to the nice people on here, but I can do without rude tossers like you Deva Link! Go boil your arrogant head in acid! lol

Happy Sunday, may all your home appliances burst into flames Deva
