Folks, just had a quote on some work, since we're out in the sticks there aren't many trusted ones to compare against so I thought I'd throw it out there. Lots of little bits of work, quoted £411 including LED strip light, all materials and labour...

Install spur to unattached garage- armoured cable from house through existing conduit to garage with double socket and strip light.

Install outside socket- requires going through external wall from existing socket, making good and also lengthening existing wire on pond fountain to reach socket

Installing an extractor fan! Supplied by us, just needs wiring and fixing up

Fixing dead socket in kitchen

Fitting new flex on cooker, running cooker outlet to new socket for lower amperage

Think that's about it, he reckons a day and a half of labour, sounds reasonable?

Ignore the most regular poster in this thread, he's an internet warrior.

Seems about spot on, I've 2 sparks I use, they said about the same costs, as in 'Fair'.
Thanks, I was looking for helpful feedback and I've received it. Internet warrior loons excepted smile

Thank you all for the opinions.

Brian, you are an utter loon and need to step away from the keyboard.
