Rainwater Catchment Systems
Discussion
That sounds very interesting.
The rain barrels here come with a diverter kit.
The first flush setup sounds interesting.
I need 4 of them for each gutter. It was raining heavily today and there's usually heavy run off. I could dig a trench to go downhill to a drainage ditch via PVC pipe but it's a long way to trench.
I could use a garden hose to connect to the barrel via a spigot and run that down to the ditch or harvest the water for irrigation use or even a gravity feed filtration system.
I have a well which I can switch from the grid but a gravity fed filtration but would a good backup.
