I've just had a section of decking replaced in a courtyard... it's now all lovely and new and pristine, but I fancy a set of cast iron chairs and a cast iron table. I think iron chair legs on the decking (it's the deep-grooved kind) will destroy it, mark it and maybe even knacker the grooves.

Is there a bizarre, chair-shoe type thing I can use here?

You can use lids from jam jars or similar if you're not fussed about the aesthetic.
I think I'd like to at least make a token effort for it not to look complete st.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't, but if you can't find something specifically for square section legs, perhaps a ferrule for a large walking stick would do?
I assumed it'd be "a thing" - but no luck yet... I think I'd need a massive ferrule, but might be doable...

I believe Frozen is quite popular, but I think personally I'd go for Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Ridiculous. I'd go with Spiderman every time.
