We have just moved our washing machine from a unit in the kitchen to the newly reformatted utility room.

But now every time it is running, the washing machine is making a break for it, like that scene in the Simpsons episode where Homer finds he has a brother, and at the end the old washing machine is sold to Moe's for racing across the bar. Its doing that.

What would be the best way to secure it in place now that it doesn't have units either side of it and no kickboard in front as it did in the kitchen?

What's the floor underneath it made of?
it is a tiled floor.

There isn't very much room to put something underneath as there is a worktop above the machine

Thanks all for the helpful advice.

Suspect it was overloaded that was the main issue when I saw it.

It sits level at all over times, the feet have been adjusted properly.

But if there is that anti slip mat I will grab some of that when I next go to Homebase

Cheers
