I'm looking at these type of products and wonder how the £45 to £60 items compare to the more premium priced items such as Ring.

eBay appears to have many at the cheaper price points which all look fine and do all the stuff I need but would it be a false economy go for the cheaper ranges.

I have good WiFi in the right locations and an original bell push so power is available as well.

Seems daft paying £100+ incremental if its not necessary.

I found a Ring 1 at Argos for £89, so not too much more than the Chinese knock offs. I also bought a TP link range extender to ensure a good signal at the front door. I'll be fitting it tomorrow so fingers crossed.

Ref the comment on wiring to the existing bell if you have an analogue bell, no diode, if it's a digital bell, use diode. Ring have some excellent videos on their website to help in set up.
