Trying to find modern rads in raw metal (lacquered)
All I can seem to find are fairly traditional ‘school’ radiators and although I really like them, my house is probably a bit too modern to carry them off.

Anyone know of anywhere I can get either horizontal panel or tube rads in raw metal?

There may be an obvious reason I'm missing, but could you not just have the design you want stripped and lacquered?
It’s a fair question to which I don’t know the answer
Would be ideal solution though.

That’s where I’d seen the raw metal
Just all seem to be in the old ‘classic’ design though

Apart from it being bent, I think it looks great unpainted! smile

I just can’t see why panel rads can’t be or aren’t raw metal lacquered.

Turning to either aluminium oxidised or just silver aluminium ones now but never seen one in the metal.

Went for these in the end.
Love the machining marks in them and the colour
Will be a few weeks before they get fitted though.

Very helpful people.
I’ve had one bespoke as I needed a total of 8000btu over two rads, but wanted a specific size and only two columns on one of the rads.

2 columns
Depth: 66mm
Height: 500mm
Width: 990mm
Output: 2873
£412.92

3 columns
Depth: 107mm
Height: 600mm
Length: 1220mm
Output: 5783
£580.00

Look like mine which are made by 'revive' I think. Got mine from mrcentralheating.co.uk who seemed to be the cheapest I could find at the time. Also have zehnder versions in which which really show up Just how much dust they gather! The raw metal ones don't show this and everyone comments on how good they look
Mr central heating are very cheap in comparison, but don’t do the sizes I needed.

They look superb OP. Be sure to post a pic when they're hung.
Yes will do.
They’re part of a major lounge overhaul including 5m bi-folds, a cylindrical freestanding log burner, walnut floor etc...

I’ll post pics when it’s all finished.

TRV’s aren’t something I’ve bought yet.

Need something to match, or even go black if need be, which would tie in with the black 3D metal tiles going on the wall behind the stove...

Too traditional for mine - I’ll need to have normal ones.

Found these in black nickel

I’ll post a pic of the bracket when I get home today.

If the brackets won’t work for you, you can also get feet for these rads to make them floor standing.

Could then just add a couple of stays to hold the rad safely to the wall.

Why would you fit those and not Cast Iron ones and benefit from the "heat sink" of the iron >?
For me, these are just that bit more contemporary than chunky iron ones.
Iron ones also tend to be floor mounted which I don’t want. (and incredibly heavy and slow to warm up)

And, I prefer the look of these wink

Here’s the wall bracket - (imagine the pic the right way up..!)

As you can see there’s two ridges for the bracket attached to the rad to drop into.
The first one is 70mm from the wall to the valve centre, the second is 80mm.

This is the clamp that goes on the rad

With that number of litres (hanging weight) have you considered these under the top row ?

Yes, had seen those.
However, this 600 x 1200 rad has 6 brackets included.
Not really sure I need them all though.

I suppose it’s taken by three bottom brackets?

I’m assuming there shouldn’t be an issue if these are what the manufacturer sends with the rads.
6 brackets, 3 wall fixings in each one - surely should be sufficient?

Finally got these fitted and up and running.
Absolutely love them, and seem to be a bit of a talking point with people who haven’t seen this finish before.
