Anyone have a rough idea how much staircases (stairs and landing) cost to have supplied and fitted? I want hard, oak ones, which will be carpetted, or maybe not if there's some kind of non slip coating that can be applies.

Staircase is 5 steps up, turn left, now you are on landing approx 2 meters long then another 5 stairs up, so 180 degrees on total, 10 steps plus landing.

Have one currently which I don't think is oak, some cheap soft wood thing, the steps have insulation then wood then carpet and still it creaks and makes a ton of noise when just one person goes up or down it, waking up the family, so we have stupid rules in the house where none of us can use it before 9am or after 10pm on weekends, which mean none of us can go downstairs before/after these times except to take the dog out, at which point you have to ninja it on certain steps. Myt spaniel likes to run everywhere and makes a right racket running down it.

Been quoted 15k which seems rather outrageous.

I can't find 180 degree staircases with a landing for sale online. They are the usual 90 degree ones.
