Light fittings - How to find nice ones?
Discussion
Struggling to find nice looking light fittings.
We are currently re-wiring the whole house, an large Edwardian property that's been split into two, so the two reception rooms we have are reasonably large with original full hieght fireplaces and the like, the lounge is oak paneled for the lower half of the walls. Not aiming for recreating an period home, but hopefully aiming for a sympathetic look with modern twist.
Lots of fittings seem to be either super modern which would clash badly, or cheap looking imitation 'antique brass' type things. Tried looking at vintage fittings but we've ruled out anything with fake candles and need 2-3 for each room which limits options.
So yes, any advice on where we should be looking welcome because I think if I put paper globes up even as a stop gap I might end up single!
