I find so much of the stuff readily available is junk, taps, wastes, light switches, fitted kitchens, appliances, from the usual out of town DIY sheds and the big onliners is just cheap naff plastic crappy junk.

About to start a bathroom refurb.

I'm dead set on a Kaldewei Saniform steel bath, lovely, bought one 15 years ago and loved it.

But the rest?

I need a shower unit, booster pump, vanity unit, taps, wastes.

Does anyone sell a range of decent stuff?

You’re right. The run of the mill online things are crap. You have to spend a lot more to get great quality items.
No probs. Cost is secondary, this is our forever home, we just bought it, I want to get it right and fit it out with stuff that will last and that I'll be happy to look at for 30 years.

Where from?

Thanks all. Some names for me to look at.

I'm 47, if its dated in 20 years time it really wont matter.

I've used reuter.de twice now. Based in Germany, extremely efficient and even with the drop in exchange rate still noticeably cheaper than buying in the UK.
I haven't looked, but do their taps etc fit the 15mm pipe we have?

If I wanted a P shape white enamel steel bath, is there such a thing?

If I wanted a shaker style, white vanity unit, with a marble top and a copper undermount oval or round basin, where so I go?

Huntsman you have PM.
Ooops, forgot to reply, just done so, thanks.

The best price I could see online for Kaldewei bath we wanted is £370. So I popped into the local builders merchant and ordered it for £298. A great result, I do like to buy locally on the Island as much as possible.

Just need to order everything else.
