The supply manifold on my Greenstar 30CDi has sprung a leak, the water is off at the stop-cock, but I'm getting pressured by the wife (probably rightly!) about the lack of water. Apparently my offer of opening up the outside toilet isn't going to be sufficient. And to be honest, it's full of loft insulation, so would be a pain in the arse anyway.

I don't have an isolator on the cold water pipe before it enters the boiler, but there are a series of inlet/outlet connections in the bottom of the boiler that look like they have isolators on them. Do they?

Would be quite handy if I could at least get the cold water back on while I'm waiting for someone to fit a new manifold.

Cheers

Thanks, there isn't a tap, but the 4 connections have a screw on the bottom of them, I'm wondering if these are isolators or something else.

Thanks, I gave it a whirl and isolated the cold going in. Now have cold water back on and someone coming tomorrow to replace the leaky bit. Fires are on, but it's still a bit cold!
