Just building a 5 shed block to house various equipment and supplies currently located in a barn I'm about to convert.

Was going to make some traditional timber doors for each fo them but these are always a hassle when trying to leave them open as they blow about in the wind and inevitably get damaged by bashing things into them. Also with some of the openings being side by side the option to have two open at the same time becomes problematic if the doors are to be hooked back to the front face to stop them blowing etc.

Anyway I was wondering instead about using roller shutter doors. Obviously I need narrow ones (1680mm wide) so would need to be made to measure and I don't need electrics or insulation. I have the height above the door apertures and would prefer internal rollers, but cant seem to find an obvious source. Anyone have any recommendations as to where I could get 5 such manual basic, but reasonable quality roller doors?

Thanks for the replies.

Used Gliderol before and they are very good, but might be too pricey for this application. I will get a quote.

I hadn't thought of window shutters. Probably easier to kick the side of the shed in as much as the door so the security aspect doesn't worry me so much... how would they be with the weather?

Weather - depends how they are mounted I guess - mine have rails on masonry, so no issue - they don't touch the windows and are rigid enough as long as the rails are supported properly
Thanks, will have a closer look at them.
