Growing in the bark in the borders so it could have originated from anywhere in the uk (or out?).
I’ve downloaded an app on my phone but it can’t recognise the pics.
Any ideas PH? Sorry for sideways photos.

It's well beyond eating at that stage.
They don’t look like they’ve been up long.
The small ones next to it are also showing signs of crackling, somewhat like popcorn.

Looks like a dapperling anyway!!
Nah, neither of those. The dome looks to split as it grows from very small. There are some emerging now that look like they are taking on the 'crackled popcorn' look. These photos don't show the splitting that mine do. Also, this dapperling looks like the edges are turning upwards as it ages. These ones seem to crack, split and fragment.

I emailed a website and they said it’s this

https://www.first-nature.com/fungi/agrocybe-praeco...

But the cap has cracked possibly due to growing conditions eg wet then very dry.
Edible but not worth it, wiki says.
