Curtains/Blinds etc - large areas

We are currently moving towards submitting our planning applications for a big remodel and minor extension of our house. (think downstairs only one internal wall isn't being touched - and every external wall either being changed or extended!)

Whilst we are loving the opportunities of a big 7m glass opening from the kitchen (still to decide on bi-folds or sliders) and a 2 story x 2m window in the hall

But, as I work away a lot we want to ensure the house still feels secure/private so we can't just leave them uncovered the whole time. Trying to find window 'treatment' ideas for such large expanses that don't feel like an office/theatre

Obviously googling like crazy - but any experience here?

Thanks, still a way off but sounds like there are plenty of solutions, also found a product called Allusions which looks quite interesting..
