Stovax View Multifuel Stove
Discussion
Does anyone have one? Any review to give?
I need a small stove so was looking at the Stovax View 3 or possibly Stovax Stockton 3, although I prefer contemporary. I know the Stockton as my Mum has one but can’t find many reviews on the View.
Big question regards the “handle” which seems to be a little device to the right side of the stove and not a proper handle. Just wondered if this was tricky to live with?
Thanks for any replies.

See if you can find one in a showroom, then you can have a go and judge for yourself.
There’s not any Stovax showrooms nearby. Any stove suppliers which might stock them are at least an hours drive away and you have to arrange an appointment and I can’t be arsed with the hassle. Well I might be arsed but thought I’d see if I could get any views here first before I “organise” my masked visit to a showroom. Things used to be so simple.

I have a bigger one, possibly the 5 and we're very happy with it.
The handle is a little bit fiddly. I find I have to yank it up or slap it to release it. You get a tool to adjust the bottom lever that handles the airwash and also for the door release but I don't use it, injust use my hand. Sometimes with a glove on.
We love it though.

I’ve discovered you can get a stainless steel “extra” handle which I might consider. I’m just used to the chunky handle that’s on the woodburner I already have.
