Help please, I need to source a electric radiator, what do I get ? Needs to work, not break and be efficient.

For a 1500w ceramic heater you are looking at £400! Is this better than a cheap £150 B&Q option ?

Any recommendations would be greatly received

Currently I use a Delonghi oil radiator in mine, with a smart plug on home app, it's scheduled to come on so nice and toasty when I turn up for work. I'm not aware there's that much difference in efficiency on any electric options, happy to be advised otherwise by the PH experts.

I'll move to heat pump air conditioning in the spring, as we're never going back into the office more than twice a week and I find fans noisy and annoying in summer.

Within reason, all electric resistance radiators are 100% efficient at all times, and which point the only variable for rate of heat output is the power rating.

However for a large space, infra red can be an option, as it heats what it 'sees' not the air around it.

Otherwise, for a reasonable size, reasonable insulated room, its all about how nice it looks and heats. Oil filled are nice, cool enough surface temp they dont burn the dust.

I have one of these in a garage/workshop.
It's not oil filled therefore meant to be more efficient going by the blurb.
Currently have it set on a very low setting to keep things from freezing.

Depending on the size of the cabin one or two 2000 -2500 watt oil filled radiators will do.

I’ve seen a few and unless you want a specific brand or timers, etc. they are all very similar. Shop around and £100 might even get you three.
