'You fking idiots. Do you know what time it is. You've woken my daughter up'

Those were the words from some woman who lives in the flats backing onto my garden.

I was trying to angle grind some concrete (with no luck). I had been doing it for about 2 minutes (though not 2 minutes of continous noise) when I stopped and gave up. I took off my ear defenders and then heard the woman shout (she lives 2 stories up so I could see her.

I didn't reply as I had my dust mask on (and couldn't think of anything to say). I just stared at her and she eventually went back in. After that I stopped anyway and did soemthing else.

I didn't actually know what time it was but as it happens I came in at 8pm and so it must have been between 6.30 and 7pm. Is that too late on a Saturday?

Funny thing is just before I came in my neighbour started using his saw to cut some wood and it mad a loud noise as well (though prob not as much as the angle grinder).

Before you start, there was no real chance of me telling her to fk off, but I might tell her to get lost next time. We lvie in a fairly chavvy area so the last thing I need is trouble!

lol

TBH if I didn;t have my mask on and kenw it was only between those times i may have responded, because IMo it is acceptable at that time

I have been having quite a few late night sessions in the garden so for all i knew it could have been 8.30 - which is why i kind of felt guilty and didn;t respond.
