My OH wants 2 new sofas, we went down to DFS and they have a sale and 4 years finance nothing to pay for a year. Trustedreviews of DFS indicate that customer sofa's are not as good as the ones in the showroom, lacking padding.

I would prefer to go to John Lewis and pay through the nose for a bank loan.

Are there any other suppliers we are missing?

Are you taking the piss?
No not taking the piss just stating what was available in the showroom, I am very sceptical and my wife is pro-DFS.

She wants a chesterfield suite, not much change out of £4k. I have just been browsing the website as I was worried about what happens to the 0% finance if you miss a payment, no sign of the small print on their web site. I can only imagine that they have you by the short and curlies.

I have found a chap who makes chesterfields on ebay, just does one a week. The same price as DFS, would have to borrow the money though through the bank.

I don't get the idea of buying a massively expensive pair of sofa's / suite. Maybe I could understand it if I knew for a fact that I wasn't going to be moving house ever again.
Will, just built the house not planning on moving for 10 years fingers crossed though.
