I had a new aquarium delivered about 6 months ago and had an oak piece of furniture made to hold the aquarium. Today finally got around to placing the aquarium on the stand and it's overhanging 1cm on the front and rear.

Measured the aquarium and it's 2cm thicker than stated on the packaging!

Is an overhang of 1cm each side or 2cm on one side going to cause issues? It's an opti-glass frameless aquarium that holds 150L. I will contact the manufacturer tomorrow.

Got an email from the manufacturer stating that amount of overhang shouldn't be an issue at all. Having the tank on a flat and level surface is apparently more important with a rimless tank.
