I've just had my front garden redone with a bit of gravel, and at least one of the cats in the neighbourhood thinks it makes a good litter tray.

What's the best way to stop this?

ETA: I know there are several products available, but I wondered what is worth it...

I've got some pellets for now, it's a cheap thing to try first. Unfortunately I've not been able to catch him at it yet as I'm not watching the front garden like a hawk all day, so a supersoaker will be hard to implement.

I'll report on how these work!

Well, pellets seem to have had an effect, no more poo for the last couple of days. I'm hoping that was enough for him to choose somewhere else.

I'd love to get a dog, but my wife and I are out of the house for too long during the day.

I have to say, I can't complain about elephants. Maybe the ones in the neighbourhood are well trained.

We've had a bit of rain over the weekend and that was enough to render the granules useless, so I won't be getting those again.

I'm installing a sprinkler system tomorrow, I've only got a small front garden so I hope I can set it so it doesn't wash the house or trigger everytime anyone comes to the door!
