Just had a pigeon fly into my lounge through the open patio doors, up into one of the skylights at the other end of the lounge and back out of the patio doors. Didn't even leave a poo or a feather behind.

Reminds me of the time I was following a guy in a white transit coming off a roundabout and a pigeon flew full pelt into his open drivers side window but didn't come put the other side. He managed to pull over safely to a stop as I drove past.

Neighbours at the back of us had a resident badger and it's young brood under their woodpile.

Not sure if it is still there but I am not going to check.

Do you think you could beat one in a fight if needs be?
hehe

Easy, I ticked yes to the complete list so a badger is no problem. In fact I think I could take the badger and pigeon simultaneously.

We have squirrels come into our garden most days, usually in the morning and late afternoon, they eat the bird seed that has fallen onto the grass and dig up hazelnuts from the tree we have.

We watch them either bury them or dig up nuts they have buried previously.

A few weeks ago we had four young squirrels playing, they were charging round the garden chasing each other, jumping up and down trees, climbing all over our log cabin, and generally enjoying themselves.

This lasted for about 10 mins then they got bored and went home. Time seems to stand still with these little moments smile

Their speed and agility keeps them pretty safe.

The cheeky squirrels tap on the window for peanuts.

We see far more wildlife being back in London than we ever did living 'in the country'.
How can you resist a face like that smile

I was parked up in the middle of London a few years ago and a fox came strolling past me on the pavement in full daylight as if it didn't have a care in the world.
