Steve and Pete
Sadly had to re home Steve (the Springer) as he kept trying to eat Pete.
Pete showing off his stitches after Steve tried to eat the left side of his head off.
Springers are fvcking mental...never again!
It's unusual to hear of an aggresive Springer. Real shame.Sadly had to re home Steve (the Springer) as he kept trying to eat Pete.

My Soppy bundle, found as a stray in Cardiff and was on deaths row till Last Chance stepped in. We adopted her 3 years ago and she was flea bitten, covered in mange scars, skinny as a rake and scared of everything. Not bad going for a family that were turned down by every other dog re-homing society around because we were unsuitable because we both work and our little boy was only 8 at the time...
Good for you! She looks lovely.pikey said:

He's 1 year old and is trained to do sit, stay and heel already. Looking forward to his arrival.
Talking of which, how'd you get a dog to heel? I've never taken mine for training as he's never really needed it; always gets in his basket when told, comes when told, sits/stays on demand and I take him for a walk/run without a lead. Having him heel on demand would be good but the word means nothing to him now. Any tips for a quick learner?I'd only do it for a couple of minutes at a time to stop him getting bored, but do it on a regular basis. It might work best if you can do it on a narrow path where there are fewer distractions.

A while ago I met a girl who'd always had what she said were Norfolk Labradors in the family, but I've just had a poke round the interweb and nothing has come up... She said that they were bred to be smaller and slimmer than your average lab, more like a 12-month-old normal one. I guess that some breeders just turn out different size dogs to others - my Springer is pretty stocky, but a local breeder/trainer's ones are much smaller in every way.
