Not sure where this belonged.

Thought this was quite an interesting development.
Of course the normal sized traveler will still be squeezed in to accommodate the extra seat width that the fatty needs. Thanks guys rolleyes

There must be a fairer solution than this surely! Also how do they ensure that the fatty sits in the designated fat seat? I suppose you could get lucky and end up in one of the bigger seats by chance.

Why not just make all the seats bigger and just have a few less of them? Money I suppose.

So they are going to line all the fat people up in the aisle seats, this creating a dangerous blockage to prevent thin people being able to escape in an emergency.
Looks like it. Which is beyond stupid. Also you will have to get them to move, which would probably be more of a hassle, if you need the loo or want to stretch your legs.

I once witnessed someone so fat that she couldn't sit in the bulkhead seat she'd paid extra for, as they have special belts and non-movable armrests. She had to sit in the row behind with normal belts, lift the arms and use an extension belt. Yuck!
That's disgusting. Surely they felt quite ashamed at having to be in that situation? Also I pity the poor people next to her.
