Any idea when the next BA sale is on?

Looking to book flights to LA next summer, but prices keep going up. BA my only option as I have £440 of Avios points I can use against them, but before I book, does anyone know when BA will have a flight sale again?

I'm assuming they will do something around xmas/ new year but would be good to know

How many avios is that? Can you book a reward flight with that many and then pay for any companions?

66,000 for £440 - need 96,000 for £600

Thanks for the tip - after watching prices climb steadily, they suddenly dropped yesterday. Bizzarely booking flights and a car worked out nearly £900 cheaper than just the flights and I get to keep the Avios for another day. So saved about £1400 overall by not having to book a car separately.

Missus was giving me grief about booking them so couldn't hold out up until January with all body parts still intact
