Looking for somewhere - ideally coastal for a short break - couple of nights.

Me, wife & 6 month old.

Unfortunately coastal for us usually means the East coast - Skegness up to Whitby.

We've done them all a million times and lets face it - outside of the nicer bits of Whitby etc they're all a bit of a dive.

So where are we missing? - Norfolk? Heard Hunstanton is meant to be pleasant?

Guess it doesn't have to be coastal but would be preferred.

Lytham St Annes?

Does it have to be the coast? I'd rather go to the Yorkshire Dales or Lake District.
It doesn't have to be, no.

Not really looking for a city break though.

What sort of accommodation are you looking for?
Only a short break so fairly relaxed on that.

Self catering lodge / cottage, b&b or fancy hotel are all acceptable. Max £200ish / night prob.
