Have not been in Singapore for about six years, so not current. Will book Jaan for a good meal with a view, but wondering about anywhere with more local cuisine, esp. seafood.

Also..any pleasant bars that are not awful tourist traps like the Long Bar?..

Finally, any ideas on new things to do in Singapore, or of automotive interest?. AM staying at the Mandarin for a while and then at the Fullerton for remainder, so fairly central.

Traditional street food...go to Satay St...excellent Satay and you sit outside in middle of CBD in a street that turns into seating at 7pm each day https://youtu.be/q1msAlJJcp4

Marina Bay Sand bar but expensive drink do not go to viewing deck as it costs a fair bit and much nicer to go to sky at 57 and watch sunset

boat trip from Merlion up the river takes an hour and a nice way to see some bits
