The Mrs has booked flights for my 30th Birthday end of feb (top girl!)

Looking for a reasonable hotel for 4/5 nights. Don’t want to spend mega bucks as I’m not planning on spending much time in the room, but at the same time I don’t want to stay in a travelodge. Maybe £150-£200 a night?

Any recommendations? We’re planning to tourist it up for a few days so would like a fairly central location.

She’s been before, stayed in the Waldorf Astoria and loved it. But wanting to keep this trip fairly low key as we are off skiing for 2wks on our return.

Any suggestions on what to do for a PH’er over and above the standard tourist bits?

Thanks.
