Planning to stay over (2) nights in Monaco in October with an R8. I'm not massively fussed on where I stay, more that the car is not parked on a street at night. Normally I'd pay more for a room and have free parking rather than pay for that seperately, and I'm not a fan of Valet parking, but that doesn't seem to be how it works in Monaco.

I find that locating a space I'm happy to leave the car in is very stressful - it's who you'll find next to you when you get back and the door situation.

Would very much appreaciate any advice on where to overnight in the area (even if it's not actually in Monaco)

normalbloke: It's not that I don't trust them, but I'm on holiday and don't want to be fussed with figuring it out. I know where I'm going to park in the afternoon before I turn the car on in the morning, that way I'm 100% stress free.

Badvok: Good point, I've now found that even with the closet of the non-valet options it would be quite a walk into the centre... I hadn't realised that there was an option for FREE parking...

Yetski: Ah, excellent - if you were able to make in there there is hope for me! That is an exceelent recommendation. I can see the garage entrance from street view - but I can't see how to gain access. Do you drive up, park in front of the door, then what?
