Italian Villa

Looking for something for this summer hols, family of 4 and ideally have it's own pool and walking distance to local amenities & restaurants etc.

Thinking maybe Tuscany region but open to ideas.

Would welcome any recommendations and experiences.

As far as I am aware and based on my experience nearly all are in the countryside and somewhat remote so a car is essential, and the aim of finding a villa where you walk into a local village is not going to be straightforward. I'm prepared to be shot down!

Correct on all counts Sir.
Whilst i don't mind hiring a car to see some sights I don't want to depend on it and this was something I was aware of whilst doing the usual google searches for the Tuscany area.
