Going next week to BKK .... Then on to some islands.... Is there a view on travel to Thailand?

the official view on it..... not great reading. get the impression they will say anything to protect tourism.

seems to be doubling on a daily basis tho.

I wouldnt be too concerned save Chinese flood into Thailand this time of year.

Very much considering pulling now as its been confirmed transmission during incubation so all those checks are useless with a high contagion figure.

The health office in Chiang Mai said on Monday (January 27) that the Public Health Ministry had instructed provincial health offices to stop reporting the numbers of suspected and confirmed coronavirus cases and wait for the official announcement from the ministry after China announced a ban of all flight to the province after February 7.

No updated figures on cases until 7 Feb....

Draw your own conclusions on that!

you would only do that if the actual numbers are bad and you want to prioritize tourism over healthcare. unless you can think of another more logical reason?
