Looking to spoil the missus with a couple of night in Cornwall staying somewhere special and a bit cosy, log fires, comfy sofas, maybe a spa, that sort of thing.

Any suggestions?

That's a nice hotel. Stayed there once, loved it, but the breakfast was almost cold. Wrote to them afterwards and said, lovely hotel but you might want to know that your breakfast is a bit of a disappointment - no response.

Pity, and good shout otherwise.

this is the best value in my opinion but abit far away from sea and stuff but great as a base to travel about, should be some proper bargains about now

Not sure if you will find log fires and cosy places in current situation open, maybe wrong.
Greenbank looks nice!

Close to Charlestown and Mevagissey. Probably booked up solid though.
Great suggestion, thanks smile

That is so helpful, thank you! I've had a look at all of those hotels and booked us a Harbour View Deluxe room at Greenbank.

Thanks again! beer

I booked in online and there was no mention anywhere of it. I might drop them a line

We have plenty of parking at the hotel. We have parking along our layby and behind on our quay.

I think I'll wing it rather than pay £40 for a space with my name on it, a free newspaper and a window seat in the restaurant. smile
