Throwing in the Towel

The Summer 2021 thread is now complicated with PCR Test experiences.
We had a flight booked for July but I have just moved it to 2022.
So I would like to hear from members who have decided to throw in the towel and sit out 2021.
In 2020 we had two holidays August and December.
The August one was far better than December from a hysteria point of view.
Now in May 2021 the craziness is one hundred times worse than December.
Don't get me wrong I like a challenge and going the extra to achieve what I want but currently we just have stupidity all over the place. Also don't mention staycation - Have you seen the weather forecast.
So for 2021 I'm just going to do last minute things. Scorching hot day - jump in the car and hit the beach!
