Breakdown cover madness
Discussion
So lancaster insurance cover my car and took breakdown with them as well.
I now have a trip to Germany and wanted to make sure I was covered in Europe, I'm not.
I asked to upgrade and was told they couldn't do anything and call "silver knight " to add.
After 3/4 of a day and several calls later it would seem its "impossible" to ammend and add European coverage. Lots of sloping shoulders.
Anyone have experience of this and advice other than spending £100 on a totally new policy?
Thanks in advance.

Isn't this entirely normal? IIRC the AA give you two days in Europe included with your policy and any extra you need to pay for.
I don't have any problem with paying for the extra cover, I do however refuse to accept that I can't amend a policy I currently pay for.A valuable lesson has been learned though, always take full European breakdown when purchasing a policy even if you think you will never need it.
