If you hire a car, never leave anything in it. They seem to have gangs who capture key frequencies, nick stuff, relock, you drive off, none the wiser.
Teide National Park is essential visiting but they operate up there too.
Won’t be driving it’s all inclusive and my plan is to spend all week sat by the pool with my Kindle.Teide National Park is essential visiting but they operate up there too.

Looking to book the Riu Vistamar for a week in February. Been there a few times in the past. Was wondering if anybody has been there since the refurbishment.

We have booked the Buenavista in Jan that’s also had a recent refurb.https://www.riu.com/es/hotel/espana/gran-canaria/c...
Have visited the Riu Paraisio in Lanzarote about 10 times and they have made a superb job of it even changed the shape of the pools !
Would have though all the hotels would have been done to the same template / standard.

We're looking to book a last minute week away in the next few days.
Is Lanzarote noticeably colder being a bit further North than the other islands? Or is there nothing in it.
I've stayed in the North of Tenerife in Feb and it was a good 10 degrees colder than the southern resorts although I imagine a lot of that is due to geography/topology.
I think it’s pot luck we r been to Lanzarote 5 times at this time of year and it has always been around 20-23 apart from one year when it was 25 +. Always a chance of wet though. Is Lanzarote noticeably colder being a bit further North than the other islands? Or is there nothing in it.

We are off to Tenerife next week.

Is that Maspalomas?
Lots of footage on-line, if you know what I mean
I was going to say take some baby wipes Lots of footage on-line, if you know what I mean
I just checked on-line, and they are not closed, suggested by many websites .
Do you have an up to date source?

Would you consider Lanzarote a bit too far for a fly out Friday and back on Sunday ?
We usually do a week pre covid and the wife starts a new job feb this year so I was thinking of a weekend in the sun, Majorca was favourite but there are very little flights available this time of year.
Well I'm sure flight is ok but tbh in the heat compared to here its not long enough and I'd find it to be mental torture coming back! Wind blowing a hooley from the NE which is the main wind direction so I would say no, BUT it supposedly blew over our internet antenna hence weve got about 1 Mbps today......So thats no iplayer/netflix/Ozzie tennis then!........So that leaves about 150 german channels to scroll thru! And a few Spanish ones as well. Cant wait for the Spanish weather report al la Fast Show. SCOCHIO..... (its 19 o C)!!! Bugger.
I did notice the Binter flight from Lanz was showing as delayed yesterday.Carguy44 said:

When you consider the typical airport to accomodation taxi cost, a car is a no brainer unless you have to pay to park.
Also if you have a late return flight it's somewhere to store your luggage after you check out.
Not least because the main roads on Fuerteventura are fantastic and have very little real traffic and who would want to be stuck in the same resort for 7 days? Also if you have a late return flight it's somewhere to store your luggage after you check out.
