DFDS Ferry Calais - Dover - ££ rinsed

Stunned that DFDS charged me £203 quid last Friday morning for an 8 am crossing from Calais to Dover. The Dover - Calais crossing last Tuesday @ circa 7 am was £129
Surely this is a p take ?

Hello SA, I got to the terminal after a very long slog up from the south, just after 4am and then booked. The first available crossing was the 8am one.
The vessel was almost empty.

And agreed, DFDS have indeed got a lot ££ dearer over the last couple of years.
