Bristol

I’m staying in Bristol overnight in June for an event nearby and I’m thinking of extending my stay by another day to have a look around.

I’ve been a few times but only to either the suburbs to see an old friend or in a hotel on the outskirts when I’m on the way to Cornwall, I can’t recall ever having been to actual Bristol.

So if I’m there for a day or two, what should I see? (Or avoid?)

I’m cheap so I’ll be staying somewhere further out, probably in the triangle above Filton near the M5. I really struggle to convince myself to spend loads of money on just a bed for the night.

Clifton seems like a must.

Should probably mention that I don’t drink, which might complicate things!
